In the past week students have been experiencing different kinds of lessons in sciences, these include documentaries, experiments and surprisingly no writing what so ever, the students are having loads of fun just watching experiments and documentaries and learning from them without writing down the information.

In all years the focus has been on the plastic ocean and the way our world is turning from an amazing world to a plastic world, so far students have had to learn how to make rafts float in water using the equipment given which could be anything from plastic bottles to wooden sticks.

One student stated that “science week is a fun and amazing opportunity to learn from real life objects and learn about real life issues that can be solved by us if we just put our mind to it, over the course of the week we would have worked out how to build a raft that floats, learn about how our ocean atmosphere is being ruined and more”.
