As we all know, plastic has harmed a lot of sea animals and you might even know that it is because of us. Thousands and thousands of animals and creatures that live in the sea have gone through a brutal and painful death.
The blue whales have become rare because of us. All sorts of plastic can enter their bodies and kill them. The plastic that enters their body gets stuck in their throat and digestive system so when they try to eat their food, causing a horrific death because of us. Are we actually saying goodbye to them?
There are plastic bags in the sea and the poor fishes get trapped in the bags. Thereafter, they die due to the cause of suffocation. But to save these sea animals, we must reduce the plastic that we use.
As a school, we can think about the plastic that we use – in the restaurant, what we are drinking and the wrapping on our food.
