New Astro and MUGA Space

As part of the school’s new building project, they decided to include a new games area for use in all weather.

The new astroturf is a good use of space because the old building was taking up lots of space so the school decided it should be demolished so they could build the new astroturf and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA). It took an astonishing 2 years to build the astroturf which is 30 metres wide and 37 metres long. The astroturf gives us space to play football and practice skills with friends. It’s also a good place to socialize with friends and stay fit.

The muga is great to play a variety of sports such as basketball, netball and handball, it’s bigger than the astroturf and can fit more people. Both the astroturf and the muga are great socializing spots where friends can meet up to play different games and hang out.

Compared to the old building, the astroturf and muga give students more space for activities rather than just classroom space. This is great for students because it makes school for fun and enjoyable.
